We welcomed back Shane Jones from NZ First to raise funds towards the Dargaville Vintage Machinery Club.

The first three events have been held at the Mangawhai Golf Club. A great venue and great food. We anticipate some of further events to be held in Dargaville and around the Kaipara district.

Previous Events

  • Eric Rush kindly gave a wonderful talk of his youth, All Black and Sevens career and a superb meal was purchased by all, provided by Golf Club caterer Alaina. Eric’s night raised donations of $700 for the Mangawhai Junior Golf.

  • Graham Mourie MBE and NZRFU’s newest life member Graham chose to talk about the Evolution of the game of Rugby, followed by questions and answers. His knowledge was extensive and participants enjoyed his in-depth responses. Graham’s night raised donations of over $740 for Mangawhai Youth Sailing.

  • Our third successful evening we invite New Zealand First’s Shane Jones to talk about the “Sport of Politics” followed by question and answers. This evening raised over $1400 for the Te Whai Trust.
